David Benjamin Roberts is the founder and Managing Director of Roberts Incorporated.
With more than 17 years in the legal profession, including over 14 years leading his own firm, David's experience extends beyond the conveyancing work for which Roberts Incorporated is best known.
Over the course of his career, he has acted for companies, franchisees and private clients in commercial, contractual and property-related matters, including disputes requiring intervention before — and, where necessary, through — litigation. He has appeared in courts around South Africa and has advised clients on matters involving significant commercial and financial interests.
While David's principal focus today is the continued growth and direction of Roberts Incorporated's conveyancing practice, his broader legal experience remains an important part of the firm.
Not every property transaction is straightforward. Occasionally a transfer presents a problem that requires more than efficient administration: a contractual dispute, commercial complication or legal issue that needs to be properly understood and resolved.
David remains directly involved where those matters require his attention.
His approach is practical and commercially minded. He believes that many disputes can be resolved before they become unnecessarily lengthy and expensive, provided the problem is properly understood and addressed early enough.
